DARE TO THRIVE

A SELF-EMPOWERMENT RETREAT FOR WOMEN

OJOCHAL, COSTA RICA | FEBRUARY 26-MARCH 3, 2024

"This magic that happens when dancing with Aliza… I let go of my mind and I’m just fully in my body. I saw myself as the woman that I’ve been trying to see for the last couple of years. That was so so powerful."

Katie Edwards, Student & Client (UK)

Tropical Leaves

SISTER, I SEE YOU.

You're a brave, strong, powerful woman. You know how to do the "survive" thing. You're good at the hustle. At making things happen. At running the ship. At "go go go". At putting your needs last.

And you're SO ready for a shift.

You've outgrown your current life paradigm.

That job, that relationship, that way of being...

It's time to let go & choose YOU.

This is YOUR time. You feel it.

It's time to thrive.

It's time to prioritize your joy.

It's time to be the one in your lineage that liberates.

It's time to come fully online into your power!

This retreat is for the women saying yes to themselves.

Through dance, ritual, nature connection & sisterhood,

we'll nourish the seeds of our thriving, together.

Will you say yes?

WHAT WE'LL DO...

Dance & movement medicine are at the core of this 6 night, 7 day retreat.

You'll enjoy daily dance & embodiment journeys guided by our host Aliza Rivka to move stagnant energy and connect you more deeply to your body's wisdom.

You'll nourish yourself in some of the most beautiful nature on the planet (majestic waterfalls, giant Ceiba trees & visits to the Pacific ocean...)

Additionally, this retreat includes a cacao ceremony, a temezcal (traditional sweat lodge), a microdose mushroom ceremony & a sound healing with the best facilitators in the area, hand picked by Aliza.

Each ceremony is intentionally placed throughout the week to support your personal evolution and expansion.

Our week together is a rite of passage in itself - a ritual from start to finish - curated with care to strengthen your resolve as you choose to thrive.

Choosing to thrive is a generous act.
A life-giving offering.

WHERE WE GATHER

YACUMAMA RETREAT & ECOVILLAGE | OJOCHAL, COSTA RICA

The exotic dreamland of Costa Rica is not only known for its beauty and spectacular nature, but also for its typically friendly and genuinely happy people. The “mantra” of Costa Rica is “pura vida” which means “pure life” – a mantra you can’t help but melt into upon arriving. This is what makes Costa Rica the prime destination for our retreat. Because being in this magical place, you can’t help but begin to THRIVE.

You’ll be staying at Yacumama Retreat & Ecovillage, located in Ojochal, in the beautiful province of Puntarenas in the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica.

Yacumama means "Mother of the Waters" in Quechua. This pristine place offers a deep immersion into nature – just being here connected to the pure energy of the land and waters is healing in itself.

Wake with the howler monkeys, meditate beside gentle streams & be serenaded by the symphony of the jungle. Feast on the breathtaking jungle & ocean views, dine with your sisters & dance in the tortuga temple.

Ciara Cacao.jpg

Cacao Ceremonialist

Ciara Lemony

Ciara is a musician, artist, chocolate maker and Cacao ceremonialist. Ciara will be guiding us in a cacao ceremony on Day 2. For Ciara, finding Cacao and the art of ceremony was like finding a missing link between her inner and outer worlds. In the words of Ciara: "In my life, this plant serves as a bridge for connecting all the things I enjoy into one reality and is a medium that helps my passions take form. Cacao has been a wonderful guide in helping me understand and trust my innate sensitivities. Through my Cacao practice I learn and share beautiful ways to reconnect to the intuition, listen to the voices of Nature and live in Love.”

Paloma-Temazcal.jpg

Temazcalera (Sweat Lodge Ceremonialist)

Paloma Coronado

Music composer, multi-instrumentalist, painter, temazcalera, perma-beekeeper, traveler.

Paloma is our favorite temazcalera (sweat lodge ceremonialist) because of the way she guides with wisdom, power, humor & grace. Paloma will be guiding us through the traditional and powerful practice of the temazcal (sweat lodge), where we'll purify & pray together.

Paloma is now releasing her third album, "Tierra Viva", a tribute to the planet Earth and the beings that inhabit it.
